I'm doin the tune up thing this weekend......Got me thinkin about what ya'all use....
What brand, What part # and why?

Bread and butter AC Delco stock plugs. Seems like there's a new miracle plug out every week, but these things still keep getting the job done.

haven't had any problems with my splitfires, no extra power but they're doing ok.

Guess I am the only one running Accel U groove. Cant say anything about them other than they fill the hole in the head and they make a spark. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

AC Delco light duty plugs perform well. Heavy duty plugs if your running higher compression and have detonation that the ignition has a hard time tuning out.

I use AC Delco.. Most of time what ever is on sale. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

AC Delco here as well. Anyone hear that the Platinum +4 plugs run hotter and would burn off any oil deposits?

My #1 plug gets oil deposits I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Platinum

Thanks

I use AC rapidfires also. My brother recommended them, so I figured what the hell. They've been real good, 3 years and 10k miles old now and I haven't changed one since, so I don't know the part number...

Lots of good stuff here.....I notice that pretty much no one uses the really stupid expensive plugs... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Been running Bosch Platinums in my daily driver for 243,000 miles, and will continue to do so. That's also what the K5 gets, but it doesn't have nearly that many miles on it.

the one dollar plug, or cheaper if they have it. maybe i should upgrade but then again maybe i should put an air filter on it too /forums/images/icons/grin.gif nope just the cheap plugs until i get enough money for a 454 or a stroker.
