I took all mine off and forgot to label them, what order should they go on the distributor in and on which post does the first wire go on? It is a 76 Blazer with a 350 and an HEI distributor. Thanks.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 , if ya forget , its cast on your intake manifold for ya .
Also 1 can be anywhere you want it , most either use the front left or the post right after the connector area ( my choice ) .
You can pull plug on 1 spark plug and dizzy cap , have someone bump it while you cover spark plug hole until you feel the compression , when you feel it , where the rotor points is 1 .
