Alright fellas, does anyone happen to have any pics of the 3.5" speaker brackets for a K5 dash? Mine is a custom deluxe, so all I got was the 4x10 in the middle. I picked up some soundstreams to toss in there, and I'll end up fabbing something anyway, but I'm curious as to what the factory mounting solution for those was, and I'm not having any luck finding pics anywhere. I might just bag the whole Idea and go with some Q-forms, but the price is a little steep and I'm not sure they will fit with the 4-speed. Any SM465'ers out there tried the q-forms?

Thanks,

Chris

good luck. They are kinda wierd, slide into 1 point, then bolt in 2 otheres. I'd try and rob some from another truck.

Thanks for the replies! I'm not worried about clearance issues as the grilles on my dash pad don't exist anymore...:hack: I see the brackets in LMC's catalog but it's not a good enough picture to see what they look like up close. Either way I'll figure something out.

On a buddy's truck a few years ago, we just bolted them straight to the dash with two or three of the speaker's mounting tabs. There were no rattles and they sounded fantastic (high end speakers).
