hey i am in the process of redoing the interior of my 78 k5, anyways i am thinking about moving my rear speakers from right infront of the rear seat to all the way in the back. what do you guys think? i dont know much about speakers. and also i am getting the rear panels redone so there wont be a hole. and also where do i go to get replacement speaker grills?

is there any sound difference where there mounted now vs in the rear of the truck?

I took my 4x10" speakers from the rear and moved some 6x9" speakers to the same place your existing speakers are. Trust me, your current mounting location is better than moving them all the way to the rear. The only exception would be if you're trying to do a restoration and mount the speakers in sort of a stock location (then you'd have to use 4x10"s too, haha).
