Yeah, I'm a big fan of simple myself...

But some people like the blingy and the fancy...

My favorite's the dork running around town here with his HiLift on the front of his lifted latest generation Wrangler. For most of a year now it's been on the front of his bumper right in front of the grill 24/7/365. So I figure IF he ever actually goes to use the thing he'll find all our wonderful road salt has either rusted it solid or turned all the springs and little bits into crumbly little bits of metal.

I see that all the time too. Along with the winch out in the elements without any cover over it.

I don't own a HiLift, but if I carry one, it gets strapped to the roll bar with a ratchet strap.

My jack is going to be mounted inside and out of the elements, seems like undue abuse to leave it outside.

I believe the mounts are from FOUR TREK, com. something like that. If you search for ROLL BAR MOUNTS, it should come up. If I find the invoice or find the website in my favorites ill post it up.

In the K5 , I simply use the top mount bolts with cobbled brackets . In the truggy , two bolts welded to the cage and wingnuts work fine .
