Special Thanks to \"Tim\'s Offroad\" (pics inside)

I just like to give Tim a big thanks. I looked for 42's a long time and he had by FAR the best price. For those of you that havent done business with Tim, he is a great guy to work with, that and he got me a killer deal. Got a bunch of other stuff coming from him also. Anyway, some pics.

Here is my yukon stub shaft i got from tim also. Its sitting on my dusty hummer wheels. Now i might put those wheels to use. BTW, those shafts are friggin huge.

Man, that's so sweet to see. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Always glad to sell parts to someone who is a REAL 'wheeler, that I know will be used off road.

Helpin' out CK5 members on the pricing is what it's all about too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Brad also didn't mention it, but those Yukon stubs are 4340. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No,
he beats prices. four wheel parts wanted 1467 shipped on those tires, lets just say tim was considerably lower, if he wants to say the price ill let him.

Re: Special Thanks to \"Tim\'s Offroad\" (pics inside)

Holy %$!& thats awesome! I am gonna start having a 36" tire complex with all you guys getting huge tires /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Re: Special Thanks to \"Tim\'s Offroad\" (pics inside)

...those powdercoated Hummer rims look 10 times better than that in person...
Good work on the tires... hurry up and mount them so that I can see how they fit on my rig before I decide if I need 39.5's, 42's, or 44's... just because I have the small penis complex!!! /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Go right for the 44's /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I did and now I realize they're not enough to compensate and I want a larger set of rubbers. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

The Yukons are made from better material but I think the stick part is the same size. I would be interested in seeing comparison pics of the yoke end though to see which has more "meat". /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

They're 4340

Re: Special Thanks to \"Tim\'s Offroad\" (pics inside)

isn't 4340 the type of metal??? What are the spicers, and how do they compare in actual size...? Are the Yukons alot better?

1018 I do believe.

The numbers refer to the properties of the steel, I'm not real familiar with it but I'm told they're 20% stronger than the Spicers or so.

They're the same dimensions of the 3-82-871 Spicer 35 spline stub we're all used to seeing, just made from a stronger material which is already clearance for full circle clips if desired.
