speciality K5s

campers are the Chalets.
Then the military blazers, Im not sure if the Military ambulances were blazer or trucks.

The ambulances are pickups. Well, cab chassis SRW pickups.

CST was basically a trim line, like Cheyenne or Sierra Grande, etc. There are TONS of these, and various specialty trim packages, like the "Gentleman Jim" pickups or the "Spirit of '76" Suburbans. I've some info on these on my Brochures site.

To further clarify what others have said:

The Blazer Chalet and Jimmy Casa Grande were indeed the 1976.5-1977 campers.

The M1009 is the military Blazer; there were also pickups (M1008, 1028, and a coupla others that I forget) and the ambulance, based on a cab-n-chassis pickup (M1010.) These are all 1984-1986.

Other than those mentioned, however, I can't immediately think of any fundamentally different Blazers, and the CUCV's almost don't count 'cuz they're basically just a 6.2 diesel with a TH400 and whacked electrics =))

It's not like the Longhorn pickups, that actually had a longer bed, or the like ... the Blazer basically has three generations, 69-72, 73-75, 76-91, and that's that.

Nevertheless, I might have issues ... I've owned a Chalet *and* an M1009 in addition to my '74  :doah:

..ambulances ..
One of our Yahoo Chalet forum members happened to meet an ex-Chinook employee in Massachusetts who said there were some Chalets made into mobile clinics / ambulances for South America, but I've never gotten any confirmation of that since or seen any photos. I ran across a St John Virgin US Islands web page that mentioned an "aged Rescue-2 Chevy Blazer", with no further details about it, and they never answered an email I sent about it.

There was the cold climate package... heavy duty emissions and cali emmisions

That was just an option package...as Aaron said there wasn't any 'special' K5's other than the Chalet and if you want to get picky the M1009.

Definitely some goofy option combinations out there though. My '81 Jimmy was a full load, power everything, AC etc etc...but was equipped with the SM 465 too. Not a very common combination of options. Still doesn't make it special.
