Speed difference

Hey All,

Can somebody tell me the speedometer difference after adding 33x12.5x15 BFG MUD TA. The Jimmy has 3.08 gears and a 700-r4 with shift-kit and cooler. Thanks,

The easiest way is to take it to the local speedo calibration shop and let them regear your setup. Thats what I had done when I had 4:56 w/ 38.5's installed on my rig. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Or if you have a GPS or a friend with a GPS, you can set that thing to MPH and compare it to your speedo for an exact reading.... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I just had my brother pace me, we talked back and forth on cell phones and were able to plot how fast i was going in comparison to what my speedo was saying, easier, cheeper, and took about 20 minutes of rural driving /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

At 55 mph with Interco TrXus 33x12.5R15's, my actual is 64 mph. Did the unscientific 'highway test'
with two-way radios. I don't have a clue what my gearing is. I'm going to take it to a calibration
shop to remedy the difference. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
