I recently did almost the same conversion
so mabe try a search under my posts in the garadge about 2 mounths ago
I Had some great guidence from some of the outher members on here and
STILL WAS IN HELL and the Check engine lite is still coming on but all seams ok so i live with it for now

I even bought the little expensive special part only to fry my elec speedo
so i went with a manuel gaudge set up and a manuel speedo cable from a late model and thne joined in the 2 wires from the late model gaudge set up
from a T 400
used a 1989 1 ton Crew cab with a 350 tbi + Turbo 400 for my final parts
hope yours goes better then mine did - is
