I need to find out what pulse output speed sensor to use on my 1990 Burban,
I am running the TBI and ECM. The drive train is from a 1984- TH400 with 208 transfer case.
What does the stock 3/4 Ton 90 model use for driving the ECM? Can I buy one off of the shelf to plug into my speedometer gear in the transfer case?

You can program the VSS out of the chip and not use it on TBI!

AFI does sell a VSS to hook up to the speedometer drive. I do not know what the pulse is, if you must know call the shop and ask for Norm. But a chip would be cheaper than a VSS and you can get rid of other things as well with it.

You can get a VSS from: turbocity.com They are at the bottom of the page.
Or get a chip programed as said above. So you can dump the torque convertor loc up and egr .Wont really need those with the swap.
Not sure if you can get a chip burned for less than $100
maby someone will give you a deal just to disable what you dont need.
Its not really hard to do.

Affordable Fuel Injection chips are $95.

Also look in the vendor section for a CK5 discount! :D
