Is there a bolt on adapter to correct my speedometer. I seems about 5 MPH slow now.

I have the same problem, my speedo shows @42 when I'm doing 55. I've gotten use to it and just figure I'm doing @ 10mph faster than the speedo until I can figure out a way to get mine set. Then if I decide on a larger tire size I'll have to do it all over again.

I have been told that the Chevy Dealers have the gears to correct for larger tires but i haven't looked into it.

Just change the spedo drive gear. You can get a different gear from the dealer or from a spedo shop. The gear you need to replace is in the x-fer case where the spedo cable attaches to it. It is a easy swap. Just take off the keeper and it comes right out.
