Speedo Gear???

This is a partial post from another thread. The other thread is pretty much dead with no new replies and I am hoping for some help.

Anyone see or have experience with an external speedo gear unit? My truck has one attached to the x-fer case for the stock gears 3.08 (At least that's what I think it is). I just changed the axles to 3.73 gears. I think the PO put it on when he put the 33's on it. View attachment 34559

These are speedo correction gears, any speedo repair shop should have them and they calibrate your speedo with thme to run true numbers.
Look in the phone book for your area to find one.
