ok, 90 k5, vss , speedo does nothing

ok I am starting at the vss, anyone have the wiring diagrams?

first thing I want to check is the wires at the vss

Do you have access to a scanner?

Look at MPH from the ECM, if it's not there, THEN I'd start going with specific VSS/DRAC wiring.

Granted, I know little of the electronic speedo's and their failure rates, but checking VSS operation is easy enough with a scanner that would be the first thing I would test.

I know at my work we Ohm out the old VSS compared to a new one and if the specs don't match then we install new one. Thats the way we test them on rigs. Maybe a parts store will let you Ohm out a new one. I don't see why not your not installing it. I don't know what specs are on pickups.
