I ended up using GorillaWeld. It has a ~4500psi bond strength, 1000psi more than JBWeld. I've been using Loctite 5 minute epoxy recently for odds/ends, but thought I'd go with something more durable for this.
One of our truck drivers at work is really into tron geek stuff and turned me on to a GPS speedo that plugs into your cigarette lighter. Works good and is accurate to within 2mph as checked against my wife's Honda Pilot. Not bad for 20 bucks on fleaBay. I double check it against RPM and call it close...I never thought of that ill have to download the app if I can’t figure it out soon thanks for the info I appreciate it
If the Jimmy gets up to anywhere close to 80mph with 35's, it's going to travel back in time. :}My speedo works, but when the gps says 80ish the truck speedo is pegged need to correct that eventually
It's the Honda that's off by 2MPH. Actually it's off by some percentage that happens to equal 2MPH at the speed you were traveling.GPS speedo that plugs into your cigarette lighter. Works good and is accurate to within 2mph as checked against my wife's Honda Pilot.
Thats what I originally thought, but it was off by 2mph regardless of the speed. Maybe the zero on the Honda is off. Either way, its close enough for the Jimmy, I usually don't go any faster than traffic unless I'm on dirt. Then I just steer with my right foot...turn right to go left. It's the Honda that's off by 2MPH. Actually it's off by some percentage that happens to equal 2MPH at the speed you were traveling.
