Speedometer Cable

I'm thinking of buying a 71 Jimmy and it has a 93 Suburban motor and the 700r4 trans. How can you hookup a speedometer cable?

If it's a 4x4 the speedo cable is connected to the transfer case so you don't need to worry about it.If it's a 2wd I'll bet the cable will fit onto the 700R4.If not,I'm sure someone makes an adapter for it,sorry I have no info. who does though.
