I have an 87 K5 just replaced the transfer case from a 208 to a 241 for the slip yoke conversion. the 241 is out of a 1990 and is the electric type for the speedometer. Question! Can I run the wires from the VSS behind the dash down to the speed sensor on the transfer case to get the signal to the computer. I don't care about the speedometer working, just want the torque converter to work properly. Just don't want to buy the B&M kit for the converter lock up.

Anyone try this!

No it won't work.

You don't need the B&M kit, GM did this with the DRAC.

Do a search for threads started by me, with "DRAC" as the subject.
