Which t-case? If its a 205 then you simply replace the plastic worm gear that drive the speedo cable with one with a different tooth count.

yeah, i forget exactly what it but every tooth you add makes up for like 2mph of incorrect speed. and it isn't just 205's you can correct anything with a gear

Not true. There are lots of cases that don't even use speedometer gears. I'm pretty sure most Chevy's do though, the 205 for sure. And the # of teeth won't correct by any set number of miles per hour off.

Your speedometer is off by a percent. If you went from stock 30" tires to 33" tires, your speedometer will read 10% too low. You would then need to find a speedometer gear with ~10% more teeth than the one you have now (i.e. 30 teeth instead of 27).

i wasn't saying anything can be corrected. anything with a gear can possibly be corrected. and you have it a little backwards. if you changed your tire size within 10% or 5% then you shouldn't notice a speedo change. thats what they say in auto schools. and that 2mph that i was saying... well ill find out exaclty what it is tomorrow from school, but that does work that way when you compare the speed to 65 i think or 60. ill get back to you tomorrow. it might be that every tooth was 2.5% also, but i no he said something about each tooth compared to a certain speed will be a mph.
