How do you go about recal. your speedometer. Do you need a different gear in the transfer case?

You need a differnt gear in the speedometer housing on your trasnfer case. A while back in peterson's they had an article about changing the little gear sizes. Im still holding off because of going to a different size tire (larger)

Gm has eather 5 or 6 gears that goes in the transfer case that changes the speed seating in your truck. You can also go to a speed shop that does speedometers and they can put a box that is adjustable to correct it.
