pulled the dash and gauges out.
The new cluster backing plate didn't fit right, the new 7k tach does not work, put new green leds in.
The temp gauge doesn't work, must have a bad connection.
The corner fuel gauge works fine.
Screwed up the speedo needle cleaning it. Glad I have a spare, already modified the odometer to what was on the old one.
Left the dash off, got a shitload of cleaning to do.
Called LMC about the tach, they're sending a new one out. Got the 5k in it now. They were cool about it.
Starting on the heads tomorrow. Spring swap, tapping for the screw in studs.
When it's ready I'll break it in with a carb, then do the f.i.
