spicer axles no available

I went to get a new drivers side inner spicer axle for my chev 60. My local supplier and friend was working on getting me one and his supplier needed the build number off my axle I gave him that and it took another day then they told him they're disconninued. Is their any truth to this.

Probably not. Try and give him another BOM number from this chart. Make sure the BOM is for a Chevy 60 (they should all use the same shafts).

This page help any? D60 diagram is a link, and the part number breakdown is the other. You can try plugging the part number(s) into GMpartsdirect.com, if it comes up, you can buy them. If it doesn't, it is LIKELY (but not certain) that it's disco'd.

Thanks Guys. 38377k5 that chart should work. My build # isn't on there so that's probably why. I'll try again tomorrow with different build #'s. I like to buy off my local guy. But if it doesn't work I'll have to go elsewhere.
