So i walked into my local parts store to get a new set of u-joints (stock front axle) and he handed over a set of 534G joints. Luckily i brought one of my old caps with me and the 534G was smaller than my cap. We only had access to a metric caliper but my cap was 30mm dia (1.18"?) and the 534G was about 28.5 (1.12"?).

So then i come back and do a little reading on CK5 and decide i want to get a set of real spicer u-joints instead of the 'whatever' brand they had.
Does anyone know the part number for the correct spicer u-joints and where can i orded them from? I went to the spicer web site and didnt find any luck there.

760x is the new, supposedly improved spicer U joint for the fron D44/10bolt axles.
The old one 297x is still available someplaces until end of stock.
I have both new in Box, if you can't find them or need them now.
I can ship or if you wait till the end of the week I will be going down to Fremont, I could get them closer to you or deliver.
:D

Wow those CTM's sure look nice but i dont have a $400 problem and my truck lives 90% of its life on pavement. they sure are purty though... (im sure if i ever break a stock one i'll know what to use next time.)
