needed some new lockouts for a dana 60 rebuild. I was on the old ebay looking for new ones and ended up buying these for 169. I know a couple of you guys have em as avatars and I've heard there about as strong as they come. The yellow dials must be Chevy...the red ones must be Fords. (Ill have to do something about that).

Good deal?

Not sure if it's a good deal, but yes pink is what came on the fords. (My dad's HP D44 has the pink lock-outs.)

Here is the spicer part # for the yellow lockout knobs 620102-1 for the 60.

:haha: Close, Avery, close. :haha:

Actually, Fords have red dials. The pink color is just faded. Over time, the plastic just fades.

If you've seen the yellow dials GM uses, then you've noticed they turn "white" when they fade.

Yeah but it just feels better to say the fords came with pink lockouts...
I know they might have been red from the factory but all of them that I've seen have faded to a nice pink color...

Those would replace the only piece of plastic in the hub with aluminum...cool I need em.

i used fords with new old stock gm yellow dials. and i love them much better than warn junk in my eyes.

with all my stuff used hubs pair/ new yellow dials pair/ and hardware-oring-bolt kit i have around 250-260 in mine all together.

A 60 uses different knobs than a 44, 60 knobs are bigger. If they had some for a 60 I'd definitely buy a pair (or two).

Figures. I wasn't completely sure.

I might be a good idea to contact BC broncos though to see if they could make some 60 knobs. The 44 knobs I got are very nice. The machining is top notch and the price is awesome. I was going to make a set, but for that price it isn't worth it.

I'd like to see someone make the caps out of billet stock, preferrably 6061 T6. If someone could make them for the Spicer 60's, I'd buy a lot of them just to keep on hand.

By this part number, are you referring to the internal or external hub? I know 3/4 ton has external on the older ones but want to make sure you're on the same page as us.

I tried that number on GM Parts Direct site and "not available". Imagine that.

It's for the kind in the pics. I got extra ones a couple years ago at a driveshaft shop. That is a spicer part number not a GM number. They were 12 bucks each.

The GM # for the 60 knob is 14009618. Both the Spicer and GM parts have long since been disco'd.

If you need the yellow plastic lock knob, is what it is called. I found a guy in Columbus, OH that has 10 of them. The place is called Driveline 1 The phone # 1-614-279-7734 Part# 620102-1 Spicer He wants $14. each plus shipping. He says that they are discontinued.
