2 questions do any of the venders on this site sell the spicer life series, non greaseable u joints.
On my front drive shaft with putting 8 inches of lift on it, can I buy a longer splined yolk to go in the front shaft instead of getting the front shaft lengthened. Thanks in advance for the help
There is one place where I live that has the spicers but he wants a fortune, so I thought I would rather support one of our venders.

Ah driveshafts! I have never run into a long yoke that you can swap in place of you existing one. Even if there was you would still be limited to the stock amount of travel on that driveshaft. Lengthening runs you into the same problem. IMHO if you are just street driving and maybe mudding this rig then just get the tube lengthened and let it be done with. if you are going to be doing some crawling then a custom shaft with long travel splines is in your future.

I do not know who carries those joints on here. Even though your local guy is pricey supporting a local business is also good.

A driveshaft spacer (can't remember where I got mine - Skyjacker??) can get you an extra inch, not sure whether that'll be enough.

IIRC I got Spicer axle u-joints from 4wheelcustoms, a vendor on this board.

If you want to take a drive, Merle's auto in Tucson has them, and I think they have a store in Casa Grande now too.
