Spider gears?????

My buddy stripped out his spider gears the other day on his K5. He has converted to 3/4 ton axles and has a D44 4:10 in the front. The ?? is from what axles can I use the spider gears out of? Does the ratio matter? Can I use a 10b 1/2ton or what? I have three 1/2 ton 10b around. But don't have access to his front end because its his DD. So before I go through the work of taking the gears out of the ones around thet house I wanted to know will they fit.Thanks in advance for any help.

If its a d44 , it takes d44 . 10b will not fit .

Just buy the correct internal kit...should be less than $100 bucks at a driveline shop.
