spindle nut socket?

is the spindle nut on the front 10 bolt 3/4 ton the same as a d-44 socket? called napa to ask, they didn't show a spindle part number for a 10 bolt 3/4 ton, just 1/2 ton. want to make sure it's the same size before i drive 20 minutes across town, which is more like 45 minutes with all the xmas shoppers

i think its the same cause they swap 10 bolt hubs on full time 44's dont they?

10 bolts and Dana 44's are the same from the spindle out ... so yeah, same socket. Doesn't matter 1/2 or 3/4 ton.

yep what he said.lol.the spindles out are different depending on what type of axle you have,but the nut is the same that holds it together.the 14 bolt spindle is 6 prong whereas all dana 44 and 10 bolt are 4 prong.
