spindle spacer question

Ordered the spindle spacer from lmc truck. 2 for 25.00 page 162 fall 2012. Its a flat piece of plastic. Pvc for my 10 bolt. Goes between the spindle seal ans the bearing seal. Its on back order and I would like to get it done. Do I accactully need this?

Go buy yourself an SBK1 kit from your local auto parts store, this will give you a new spindle bearing, seal and the plastic thrust washer (the original thrust washer was bronze).

Yes, item 4 is the thrust washer and you can do better by buying the SBK1 kit from your local parts store for about $12 and you get the seal and bearing also AND you don't have to pay shipping or even wait more than an hour or so to get it if they don't stock the item in the store.
