Will a '78 10 bolt front (8 lug) and an '87 10 bolt front (6 lug) both have 30 spline axles? Im pretty sure this is a yes, but wanted to make sure.

They're both 28 spline, 30 spline 10 bolts didn't start until '89

Great, thanks guys. As long as they are the same that means I have free spares.
As long as you're sure the 78 is a 10 bolt and not a D44.

Its definetly a 10b, Thats what I'm currently running right now (8lug) that matches the rear 14b. I took the other one off of my '87, Its just taking up space in my garage.
