I just picked up my dana 60 and it has 4.10's in it. I am currently running 4.88's in the 10 bolt front. So i was wonderin, since i have to buy a new carrier for the 60, would a spool be a bad idea? It doesnt see much street at all, maybe a trip to the gas station or the store from time to time. I relize that drive flanges would be out of the question. I just dont have the money for a detroit for the 60 and call me greedy, but i dont want it open! My other option is to swap in a set of 4.10s (which i already have) into the 14 bolt. What would you do?????

i will warn you- if you are spooled in the front you will need either hydro assist or full hydrualic. otherwise you will NOT be able to turn- i couldnt turn mine with crossover but with the full hydro it feels like a normal open diff.
