im searhing for a decent spot weld cutter bit. eastwoods didnt really have great reviews. is there a particular brand thats better then others?

buy extra bits to have on hand.

and go slow on rpm's when using and lube it a bit or thay burn the bits.

i used what the local paint/body supply shop has on hand few times i needed one.

I guess what it depends on is how much you are going to use them, If your just doing one job the eastwood bits should be fine.

I have used this for hundreds of spot welds if your using the tool right the teeth will last, They will break but thats going to happen. eastwood #11279

When I got mine I got 3.

i must of had a cheepy hen. it was 3 bits that flipped over and also threaded off the center arbor pin .

being the use I put them thru, I bought a 4 piece set about 20 yrs ago... had to replace one about 10 yrs ago that i lost... the 3/8, it was getting a tad dull after a decade or so of abuse tho anyway being the most often used...
