spring bolt size

anyone know what size the bolt that goes through the spring to hold the leaves together?
 
I'm pretty sure on my 88 the rear ones were 3/8" I got them really long and cut them down.

I agree. On my 79 it was 3/8" and mine was fine thread if you think that matters.

i used a 3/8s socket head allen bolt with a stover lock nut cut to length .works great several time heh heh
