Spring Bushing Problems

I am replacing the spring eye bushings on my stock '91 52" springs. I torched out the rubber and drove out the inner and outer metal liners, so now I have a bare spring eye. The bushings I got from ORD measure 1.5" OD, the spring eye is 1.67" ID without the outer bushing liner.

Do I have the wrong bushings? Do I need the "metric" bushings? The ID of the installed metal liners is about 1.55". Should I have left the metal liners in?

Yep, you need the metric ones. The 56"ers you got from me came out of my '90 Sub I ended up using metric bushings w/o the sleeves.

Boy I'm glad your 56" springs already had the bushings, I'd hate to have to go through this twice.

Well your 56"ers went to good use. Just got to get my 52"ers cleaned up as nice and the D60 done....
