Spring eye bolt question

So I have a bolt on the back of the drivers side front spring that stripped out. Can I just slide the bolt out and replace it, or do I need to support the frame from falling down?

You mean the bolt that holds the spring to the shackle? I would support the frame, mostly because I don't get uner things and take a chance.

support the frame or youll have a shock in your head...get a grade 8 as you know!
