spring or blocks

what are zero rates and where can I get them and am I going to get 8inch of lift?

The flip will give you 4" and the zero rates another 1". With the regular sag, you end up with about 4". 8" of lift is going to be harsh anyway you do it.

not necessarily, the newest thing here is to build 4" drop brackets out of 1/4" plate steel welded and bolted to the frame, then mounting 4" lift springs...

If you can fabricate it and dream it, you can have anything. But if you call ORD or DIY4X, you will get 4" from a flip. Max. No need to complicate a simple question IMO.

Blocks are for toddlers . Springs are for wheelers . Shackle flip so you don't need as much lift on the springs makes a better ride .

Does the shackle flip mess up your pinion angle?
Did you guys have to do anything special to correct for it?

(I'm also plannig my 4" lift)

Yes, and you put an angle shim or you cut your spring pad and turn it. :D

Where can you buy a shacle flip at?

I don't buy a shackle flip, I can make one, but I am sure someone will chime in with where to buy one.
You can buy the ORD shackle flip.
The cheapest would be to get a rear spring front hanger and put it in the back, that will let you flip the shackle down, cheap and easy.
