Im going to be relocating my spring pads on the back axle. I just installed a 10" spring lift on the front and 8" on the rear. How much do I want to move the pinion up for the correct drive shaft angle. I have one 7 degree wedge in it now but I'm not really sure that is enough? Any rules of thumb on how to achieve the correct angle?

You need an angle finder and take some measurements on your tcase output and axle yoke to find out where your angles are.

Different drive shafts will need a different setup.

What kind of truck?

What kind of driveshafts?

It is a 77 Jimmy 350, TH350, 203TC. As far as drive shafts go, they are after market (built locally) but in the stock configuration. I can lengthen or shorten and balance them in the shop so I am more interested in the angles. I haven't picked up the 14bff yet. I will be getting it in the next couple of weeks and was trying to get my head around what I need to do before hand.
