the spring perches im measuring are around 42.5 and my k5 is measuring the same, but i want to be absolutely sure i dont have to move these cast in perches.

can someone please take a measurement from the backing plate to the center of the spring perch please? i want to be absolutely sure i dont have to go cutting away. thanks alot!!

my 14bff had those cast perches(beefy)...and they were a pita...100% welded! 42.5'' is 1ton width..iirc....your blazer should be 41.5''(1/2 & 3/4 ton perch spacing)...i believe thats correct....someone else will chime in

1-tons feature 40.5" perch spacing - whether C&C or pickup, whether SRW or DRW. 3/4-ton is 42.5" spacing.

aww....its 1'' difference per side not over all and i went wrong direction also, wish i would have measured my perches....i cut everything off b/c it was a 1ton!

im guessing it might be but the tape measure was not bent but it could be off still.
on a srw whats the distance from the backing plate or pumpkin edge or something identifiable?

If you're measuring around 42.5 inches, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not likely they could be off a little bit since the stock cast perches are still welded on. If it was for a 1ton, it would be obvious when you measured.
