I know the axel is wider but what pad spacing does it have? same as a 1ton truck or not?

I just went out in the garage and measured mine for you and it is 50" center to center on the perches.

50" yikes :O then it looks to me like I could weld on my new perches without taking the old ones off (for now) I like the fact it is 70" WMS to WMS, no need for spacers.
Yep, i was thinking the same thing since my perches are full cast and don't look easy to remove.

the full cast ones are easy, took me 15min per side
cut across the center pin hole to the tube, than the welds on each side
pound on it with a BFH and it comes off
