Im axle swapping this SAT, i would like to have everything in place, my 83 Chevy has 10-bolts front and rear, I landed a set of 3/4 tons out of a chevy 44 8-lug Front, and a 14 Bolt SEMI-Float...200 bux for the matching set, NEW brakes AND the gears I want...

I already bought part # 240-0356 Conversion U-joint from NAPA... I reckon I will need different spring plates, can I cut the ones of my 10-bolts or is there a place to buy them?

What else ( other than 8 lug wheels) will I need to have ready to do the swap in one day? BTW I'll have some

for anyone interested in lending a hand...

Check out DIY 4x4 (vendor section) for spring plates. Kurt makes them, and his craftsman ship, price and customer service is always top notch.
