Ok maybe I'm being lazy and can find this out by searching.....
I've been reading all about swapping 52's, 63's, stocks, front to back, back to front etc. :dunno: :dunno: Can someone give me the edited verion on what the different lengths are, which ones are used for what, and why you'd swap in certain ones, and where to put them when you do. I'm not looking for the complete write up just simplified overview on the subject.

52" = 73-87 c k body rears 1/2 ton-some 3/4 ton

56" = 73-87 c k body rears some 3/4 ton and all 1ton

64" = 88-up c k new body rear all 1/2-3/4-1 ton same just more leafs and thicker steel

longer = more flex and smother ride. also stock 52"s swaped in to the front is cheap easy 4" lift. then some use 56" in front for more flex. and the 64" is used in the rear for a lot more flex. this all said the longer the leafs the more axle wrap can happen. hope this helped you.:wink1:

thats perfect thanks.
I just needed to get an idea of what/why everybody was doing---it was getting confusing. I get it now.
