You would have a better spring that will last longer and ride smoother if you got the cheapest crap aftermarket spring vs what you're talking of doing.
You can get a very nice 4" Tuff Country EZ Ride lift spring set (2 springs) from Off Road Design for ~$350. What you're talking of will cost you $300
The savings $50 would not be worth it in quality alone, let alone longevity and ride smoothness, and flexibility

just get a flip or new packs. and you cant arch the stock springs that far and still have the eye to eye distence the same as before. the more arch the spring has the longer the leafs will need to be to cover the same distence.
