Has anybody had axle wrap with the Spriner Suspension setup? I am interested in the setup, but I would think that there would be some axle wrap. Do you have to run a traction device or not? Any input?

The track bar that comes with the kit is to limit side to side movement.

I never had any real issues with axle wrap when my truck was a K5.I think it had to do with all the weight in the rear.

Did you flat bed your truck or something? Are you running somthing a little lighter but still have the springer setup? If so, do you have axle wrap now? I was thinking that maybe this suspension concept would be a good way to lengthen the wheelbase of a jeep. But I am not sure if it would be to light.

This is what I got.

Its a mid 70s stepside box cut down 13" with expanded metal floor and trailer fenders /forums/images/icons/grin.gif The only time I get wrap now is when the bed is totaly empty. With all my parts,CO2 tank, tools, and spare tire in the back I dont have any problems /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

i was wondering if you changed the cab on that yourself?how hard was it to do? i would like to change my k5 to an older(73 or older)pickup cab.
