Is there any advantages of moving the leafsprings out towards the knuckles? I'm planning on installing 2.5 ton rockwells:laugh: and their hub-to-hub measurement is 79 inches (which I want). I AM going to mount the shocks out there.
I haven't decided if I'm going to put coilovers up front or stay leafsprings:confused: . Fabbing won't be a problem (to me that's part of the fun!). Thanks for any feedback.

Ah, excellent point. That would save me alot of fab work.:weld: :grind: I would only need to fab up some shock mounts; beauty, eh?!!

You would also be disappointed to discover that you can't turn your tires without rubbing the springs.
