I am about to move the front axle forward and clock my t-case and am going to have to build a new front drive line. I have been reading about making a SQ tube front but also can get 16 spline PTO material like they use on balers and ag equitment. Would I be better off making a fully slip PTO shaft or just use sq tube? I personally think the 16 spline would be better but would appreciate pros and cons

If you have easy access to the splined stuff use that. Square tube can bind under high torque when the axle moves up and down causing transmission and transfer case failure.
