I can't tell if it's the eye bushings or the little plastic pads at the ends of the leaves. Anyone else noticed it? I'm not usually picky, but driving around with the windows down it drives me nuts. Maybe just need cleaned or greased? Grease will make a mess I know...

Is it squeaking?, or does it sound kinda like a metal chain being dangled everytime you go over the slightest bump in the road?

My '98 and my Dad's '98 both made a sound of what sounded like a chain everytime you'd go over the slightest bump in the road.

Check the part that wraps around the leaf pack (can't think of the name of that part right now). :doah: I ended up tying a zip tie around mine to keep it from jangling around while driving. Both my Dad's truck and mine had the same problem ONLY on the driver side spring. :dunno: Weird huh.

I think it's just the poly bushings on the front springs. Gonna change 'em to rubber or lube 'em.

Thanks

Coat them real good with anti seize and they won't squeak anymore.
