I need 4 of the square nuts that are used to mount a winch. Where can I find them?
Found ours at the local mom and pop hardware store. I saw some at Lowes last trip also.
Telephone pole?? ....I see them holding transformers on,and guy wires.. ..
I've seen them in farm supply stores, and at places like "U-Haul" that install trailer hitches---but why use a square nut that probably isn't even a grade 5??...is it the only thing that will work for whatever reason?..not sure I'd trust them under those kinds of conditions a winch is likely to see..
Need them because thats what came with the winch. A regular nut will not fit. Think I might go cheap and steel 2 from a transformer then.
Well steal them far from my house 'cause I don't want to be inconvenienced by a power outage when you blow your own nuts off stealing those.
They have every harware nut, bolt, fitting, and somestuff I didn't even know existed!
