Hi yall i have an 86 k20 with sliding windows right now i just have the glass in place but i need the latch and the 2 middle pieces that come together when you want to close the window any i dea on what that is called, i don't have any pictures

Couple options

I have the latch i just need the mtal pieces usually chrome that goes in between glass, there is supposed to have it on both sides left and right when the two pieces come together right now mine is just bare glass with nothing to seal in the middle

Interesting. Those might be harder to come up with. There's a "wanted" section here on the site you could post in.

A picture might help too if you can find or take one.

Sounds like you need the vertical channels that attach to each piece of glass. When closed, they touch so the glass doesn't.

Try a local glass shop or the Wanted section. It's very unlikely that you'll find a parts place that can get those. Once upon a time, slider windows were less than $100 so I'd price that too and weigh which is a better route.

One member here I can think of that might have something like this would be @kennyw

If you come up short, LMC has a complete replacement, but it's pricey. This is something that I'd normally look for at the pick and pull, but even in the last 5 years square bodies have gotten a lot rarer in the parts yards.

If you are missing part of the framing and latch, it will probably be easier to just replace the whole window.
