Squeaky Brakes?

Why do my brakes squeak on my 85. and how in the heck do i shut it up. there's got to be something i can do. i clean the rear drum brakes about once a month. what can i do to stop the sqeak.

Are you sure it's not the fronts?? A little disc-brake quiet can work wonders. If it's definitely the rear, I'd wager that you are due for a complete drum rebuild (shoes, hardware, and wheel cylinders)
