Wow, check out the shipping rates. I thought $73 per side for the rear springs didn't sound too bad until I saw that it would be over $100 a side for shipping.

I calculated shipping on some 63" springs and it turned out to be $29/spring for FedEx ground...

I just ordered 58lbs worth of shocks and it only cost me $27.44.

From their Ebay auction:

"We use posted shipping rates from FedEx.com. To closely estimate your shipping costs, log onto FedEx.com, select the "Rates" tab, and use the following values:

Shipping From: 71292
Lbs: 73

For Leaf Springs, add $5/spring.
Shipping Insurance is $0.35 per $100. The first $100 is free.
Louisiana Residents add 9.5% sales tax."

Their policy is very reasonable, not much you can do if its expensive to ship where you live, it costs what it costs :dunno:

I have purchased 6" fronts and 6" rears (56" long) from them and both times the freight was just under $30 per spring.

I checked again and it is $29 per spring, much more reasonable. I must have had the "Express" checked instead of "Ground". My mistake.

So just how "scratched n dented" are the items they sell on there? They have everythin I am lacking at tis point. I am a firm believer in "you get what yuo pay for" but at the same time I'm cheap right now. I figure if a set of shocks are still fully functionala nd its just some paint chips, hell I'll throw some paint on and call it good.

I bought some shocks from them. The paint was real rough, but they worked very well. I threw on a little rattle can white and they look great and work great on the front of my Burb. They came with all new mounting hardware, bushings and the all important decals. I paid $15 per shock and would do it again. :D

Well I cant speak for the shocks ,but the 4" super ride front springs I bought looked as if they had never been installed on anythingand got new f/r bushings to boot also.

What is wrong with the spring htat puts it in the scratch/dent pile?

A:
Springs that have been installed, banged up during shipping, or have been discontinued can be put in Scratch and Dent inventory. Most of these have been installed. All of the springs however, match Superlift specifications and are under a limited lifetime warranty.

I dunno about gettin "used springs", would rather spend the extra money and get brand new ones.
