Which way would you go?
This is going to be a DD/Trail rig. I'm planning on running 38" Michelins for daily use as they are cheap and wear like iron. Eventually I will get a set of 40's of the Swamper type variety for offroad use.
I want to run H1's for the offroad tires. If I go dually, I can run them stock backspacing and the savings of not having to recenter them basically pays for a tire of choice. Only problem is I don't know what wheels to run for daily use. (a tubed flatbed will replace the bed so no dually fender in the back) The HD wheels seem to have a decent amount of backspacing. I don't know how much this would offset the dually hubs though.
If I go SRW, then I have the added expense of recentering the H1's later down the road but can run regular wheels for daily.
