Not sure what you mean? Steering stabilizer? Pics or proper terminology would help.

If your talking about a shock looking thingy on the front steering linkage on the front axle that is mounted sideways, mine was really rusted on, so i cut it off with a 
. There are 2 bolts, one on each side.

yes i am gettin an after market replacement stabilizer or as you refered the sideways shock thing but how do you remove it from the stabiliser bar

So, I am guessing you just unbolted it?
I am curious as to what was causing you the problem.

it was a simple unbolt the stock stabilizer that was on the truck didn't have any resistance and it was leaking oil. You used to have to hold the steering wheel with the death grip on a bumpy road with potholes now its a lot better
