i am trying to figure out what is so special about stacey david....
guy has a girls name... does SOME of the work, but its still TV, as soon as the ca mis off, the others come in and do the work... and he talks like a fag...

to me, he is just another guy who gets paid to wrench...
 
I'm not so sure about that. Stacey is more than an actor that turns wrenches. He knows his stuff and he builds way cooler projects than anyone else. Just today they had a rerun of the Crazy Horse payoff and I must say it was way better than the n0oBs that are on TRUCKS now.

Well, I think Stacey explains things way better, and he never takes any short cuts. I for one can't wait until he is back on the air.

Also I can't wait to see the payoff of SGT. Rock. :D
 
You don't honestly think that one person could build all of those projects by their self in one season do you. The point of the show was to show the sponsors products so the bills get paid. Build new projects to keep the ratings up and explain as much as possible in a 30 minute show filled with commercials.
I for one couldn't do that.
 
Building 4 trucks like Copperhead in a year is no big deal.... We used to do frame off resto's in 3 months no prob...

And when you throw in the unlimited funds aspect, it makes it that much easier....... and fun!

Staceys alright.. Yup, he's a dork... But he talks to you like one of the guys, not these "made for TV personalities" you find everywhere else... Scripted like, Horsepower....

Anyone see that ghey episode recently where they were in a band?
 
stacey is a cool guy look how he built up Big Blaze!! that thing was awsome, untill he gave it to a dirtbag that pretty much killed it
 
I thought it took Stacie 4 years to complete Cooper Head? :dunno: I thought he said that when he finally got it finished.
Well you know with all the other projects he has done in the mean time, I guess from the start to finish took that long...

I'm not sure, maybe I just made that up :crazy: :doah:

I'm not trying to make your "knees knock", ya faawkin' douche bag.... But thanks for lettin' me know it got to you.

My only point is that David IS more than a TV personality - he ACTUALLY knows about vehicles. He talks to the camera like a real person, not some a$$hat who's reading a cue card. He's about the only TV automotive host whom actually gets support and a true following from the automotive community. I, for one, am glad he's going back on the air.

On topic:
I liked the show when Stacy was on it, dont watch it now. I saw Stacy at Carlisle this year, didnt meet him, line was too long. But I thik he's probably the best wrenching TV hosts since Shadetree was still on.
